So even though I'm unemployed and trying to go back to school, financial aid for school goes by your former income, which is just barely too much to make it worthwhile...I mean, I suppose a discounted Tuition is better than nothing, but I was at least hoping it would cover books ( Read more... )

They seem to deliberately set everything up, incl Medicare/Medicaid, so that almost no one qualifies. Disgusting.

They're hella tight here too with this moving shit. Deposits, two places to pay rent on for September, buying replacements of stuff that Keith is keeping, you name it. I gotta sell off some investments to cover it. :/

I would say crash with me, but it's not possible because I'm thrown out of the house for the weekend 'cause Keith has a... would you call it a date? lol. So I'm crashing with my pet in Raleigh. You got somewhere to stay I hope?

Yeah, I looked into that too and realized I still made too much with the 40% salary cut to get anything through FAFSA. So I quit trying to go back to school.

I was extremely lucky to find a job. I ran into your friend LJ at the CATS office the other day. He recognized me from the 4th of July parties. I thought he looked familiar.
