With Remy sleeping, Brad ends up sitting on the top step with hsi face to the air. He's sobered up enough to feel it again, the ache in hsi chest, the absence at his side. He never had a wedding ring from Nate which he's got to view as a kindness now. He looks down at his hands and a tear rolls down his cheek.

Missing him this much, it doesn't even seem possible.
But his heart is always faithful.
