Hi. So, I feel like I should write in here. So, I'm into my second trimester, yay! I'm feeling pretty good, but I get exhausted really easily, so busy weekends are kindof going out the window. I found a message board for people who are also due in sept. and it's really nice to connect with other people going through the same things. It's hard because I feel like all I talk about most of the time is me being pregnant and the future with my baby and I feel like I bore everyone else with it, so it's nice to be able to talk to other people who are the same.
I just wish I knew someone closer besides my sister who was pregnant. She's great and all, but we don't really talk that much and she's busy with school and stuff. I had a friend who is preggo as well, but she's way farther along and I'm not exactly wanting to re-connect with her since she's done things that don't make me too happy.
It just sucks because I feel like with everyone else I make everything all about me and I really don't want to be one of those people, but it's hard because this is seriously the biggest thing I've ever done and it's on my mind constantly and I'm excited and scared about it. But I will still gladly talk to people and listen to them when they need to talk.
ugh, sometimes it just feels so lonely. It also kinda sucks that I don't have any friends who live really close by that can just come over whenever. I love all of you guys though, i just wish we operated on a teliport system already so I could hang more. and now gas is getting way too expensive.
Oh, also, more about me and my pregnancy, like people haven't had enough. I recently made an appointment with a different practice. I decided that st josephs, even though it's in st. paul, would be a better fit for me to deliver at, so I made an appointment with the same people my sister saw. She loved them, so I'm hoping that the drive will be worth it. It just makes me more comfortable knowing that they have a lower c-section rate than anywhere else, and they have a tub in case I want to do water birth, and they probably wouldn't treat my request for the squatting method like it's some weird foreign way to give birth. Anyways, once I did that I felt better about things because I was feeling really anxious about weather park nicollet/methodist hospital was the right choice. Also, my mom delivered all of us at St Joseph's as well, so she validated me with "well, it's definitely not the wrong choice".
Anyways, sorry everyone, i love you all.
