27 weeks 2 day: another boring appointment
This pregnancy is totally boring, lol.
In the words of my NP: "Weight: beautiful. Blood pressure: beautiful. You're 27 weeks, and you measure exactly 27 weeks."
The only interesting part was the weather. Yep, after a whole month with record-breaking heat and no rain, it would start pouring at 8:15 am on June 30, just as I was leaving for my appointment. And it poured the entire time, too. Like a cow pissing on a flat rock. The lights even flickered while I was in the windowless office bathroom giving my urine sample. Nice.
She set my next appointment for THREE WEEKS!! YAAY!!
After the appointment, I went to the lab for my glucose thing, and UGH, WHAT AN ORDEAL. The place was inexplicably PACKED, and I had to wait 40 minutes before they even gave me the glucose shit to drink (fruit punch flavor). Then of course it was an hour of waiting for the blood draw (which they had to take from my hand, which still hurts, owww). God, I'm so starving. Time to nom some pizza.
