But I'mma rant and rave once more on a variety of subjects! So here we go!
Star Jones vs. Barbara Walters:
Who... cares. Jones, take the high road and accept you got fired, and find another job. Stop whinin about it on national TV and creating flak by exposing behind the scenes squabbling for the world to see. Be a man and get on with your life. As for Barbara Walters... yeah, when I think of "integrity-laden investigative journalism" sure... I think Barbara Walters. *sarcasm* Nobody cares about the View - that's MY view.
Superman Eschews Patriot Act:
You're trying to create a faithful rendition of a comic book. Leave the "American Way" line in, or find a way around it without trying to make some dumb political statement. It's fine and dandy to say that the "American Way is different now from what it was in the 40s and 50s, when it was more of a moral ideal" but when you take out the line to make millions with an international blockbuster, then you're not doing much to promote the American way anyway, are you? Here's a novel idea! Put the real American Way into the movie, and have Superman fight for that. And film it in America this time. Badabing, badaboom.

They found weapons of mass destruction in Iraq! The war is JUSTIFIED!:
Hey, hotshot, part "duh"- I got a message for you Bible-thumping holier-than-thou finger wagging conservatives out there - war is NEVER justified. Not even in your God's eyes. And besides, they didn't find WMDs. They found pre-1991 chemical weapons that could never be used because they'd already been dismantled because the chemicals were so degraded that they would have been next to useless. Yeah, great find. How about we admit we fucked up, and just go look for Bin Laden now? I mean, we got less soldiers looking for him than we have police officers in Manhattan. And it took our entire army how long to find these "WMD's"? Homeland security, thou maketh me feel safe.

I got news for you. I'm not religious, but neither is God. The Bible wasn't written by Him either, cuz if it was, you're ALL going to Hell regardless, since none of you follow the directions on the box specifically. I mean, if God really cares so much about male homosexuality, and not female homosexuality, and cares so much that women release so many doves and wash their clothes and bedsheets so many times and go to a priest to be told how many times she must pray for forgiveness for having her menstrual cycle everytime she has a period, then Heaven's gonna be full of homos, cuz I don't know a single woman that does that. Who CARES if Jesus had a family or not? If so, at least he did it within the boundaries of marriage, so what's the worry?? Whether or not he was the Son of God or a great man is moot by now. He still had a good message, live with that, and be happy.
When the hell did the whole world get so uptight about such nonsense? I swear, the more politically correct we try to become, the more we shoot ourselves in the foot.
