Tomorrow is Earth Day so...

So it's Earth Day and stuff, and the Fine peoples ar NBCUNI are celebrating by collecting your electronics.

Not only does Green is Universal’s Earth Week kick off today, but we’re also launching our electronic waste recycling campaign-Green Screens-on the Today Show Plaza.

What’s considered e-waste? Any old…
·CDs/DVDs

·VHS tapes

·VCRs

·DVD players

·Cell phones

·Laptops

·ipods/mp3 players

·Computer monitors

·TV’s

·Radios

When: Today through this Friday from 7am until 2pm each day

Where: Today Show Plaza at Rockefeller Center

Why: It’s free, it’s good for the Earth, and it’s an excuse to get outside and enjoy the nice weather!

The School of Visual Arts will be creating a giant art installation throughout the week out of the electronics collected and, when we’re all done, everything will be recycled.

And if you live in Queens or Brooklyn and really don't want to drag your old computer monitor on teh subway or wast gas to drive it into 30 Rock here are some closer options a few weeks from now...
