Happy Mother's Day
Hope thinks there should be an Aunt's Day and I must say that I agree. :P
We had a really good day yesterday. It didn't start off so well with my cats waking me up a little after 5:00 and refusing to let me go back to sleep but I had the cake done and had eaten breakfast by 7:30 so at least they made me be productive. We all had Subway and cake and ice cream for lunch and then went to the mall. Alicia got new basketball shoes, Tanner got toys, Mom and Hope got new purses, Jaimie got a huge bag of clothes and a purse and I got new pajamas. Pretty good haul all around. Then we were off to Chevy's for an early dinner where I had two margaritas and we annoyed all of the other diners in our area. Hah. At one point, Mom actually threw Alicia's ball of dough at me and hit the wall behind me. I thought the uptight guy at the next table was going to lose it. Pbbt. Whatever. We had fun. And then we went back to Mom's, drank wine and watched 27 Dresses and Juno. I was exhausted by the time Hope and I made it back here but it was nice. We hadn't all been together for a very long time.
Today I'm making alfredo chicken lasagna in my new 9x13 stone and then hopefully the weather will cooperate so I can take a walk after everyone leaves. And tonight, Survivor finale! Pretty good weekend.
