(no subject)
Something bit me (4 times!!) while I was sleeping Friday night and now I have four little spots that itch and are exactly where the waistline of my jeans hits and they're driving me crazy. WOE.
Hope and I did some shopping on Saturday while everyone else was getting haircuts. I needed to find something to wear to the concert that wouldn't embarrass her and wouldn't make me look like I'm trying to be a teenager. We found one that we both liked but we had an argument about the color. She liked the black and I liked the navy. We still had some other places to look so I didn't buy anything on Saturday. So I went back today and got the navy (:P)but when I got to the register, they told me if I bought another shirt I could get it for $1. Well, who could turn that down? So I have the black one too but I'm totally wearing the navy. So there.
It turned out that Hope did have the newest FOB album but she didn't have the first one. So we exchanged the one I bought and now we have both. I listened to the new one today on my drive to the hometown preschool. And, well, I still like the songs I already liked from hearing them on the radio. And two or three others are growing on me. I'm just going to hope they play the ones I like. :) I also looked at their website and saw the opening acts and I'm pretty sure Hope is going to owe me for the rest of her life. Hee. BEST.AUNT.EVER!!!
Tonight I made gingerbread men for the preschool here so they can do a graphing activity tomorrow. I pretty much hate gingerbread so I've never made them before. You know what? You're supposed to take most cookies out when they turn the right shade of brown. But when the dough is brown? Really hard to tell when they're done. I don't think I burned any of them but a few might be a little crisp.
I really like Derek Hough's choreography but I don't like his face. He's funny-looking. And I'm mean but, still. Not cute.
One more day of work and then five days off. That makes me very happy.
