(no subject)
I just turned down a job interview. Might have been a mistake but it was just too much travel and farther away than I want to drive. The other place I'm waiting to hear from has four positions that would require travel also but they're in this county and that's enough driving for me.
We're doing evaluations again at work. Apparently we're doing them twice a year now. Wonderful. Anyway, one of the questions was about what would make the workplace better or something and I said a raise would be great. Because it's been 18 months. I'm not the only one who put that down either. We're all tired of waiting to hear about the accreditation. Most of us work hard and we deserve a raise, even if it's a tiny one. So there!
It's amazing what I'll do to avoid riding my exercise bike. It's over 90 degrees out there but I went for a walk anyway. I meant to only do 30 minutes but I ended up doing 55 and now I have a headache and windburn but I don't have to ride the bike! I'm a dork.
We had another good day today. Two in a row! Malissa and I are going to get spoiled!
Heh. They have kids on Jeopardy this week and they just had a Harry Potter category. I knew all the answers! Woo. :P
