i'll stare off through the darkness, to find us a kingdom
This is going to be a good week. James gets here on Thursday. We have a show Friday and Saturday. Amy gets here Saturday. I miss her so insanely much. The phone does not do her justice. And next week will only get better. I made reservations at a nice restaurant up in the mountains for her birthday. Though she won't be here for the exact day of it, I had to make plans to do something. It's going to be great having people visiting again. It's been a while.
I am also pretty happy about some new developements with the band. The last couple of days have been filled with news about good stuff like big shows, recordings and a label. Our demo is mastered and whatnot now, but it looks as if we won't need it for too long. By summer we will have a full length as long as we have the material to record. So now we need to really hone in on writing and practicing.
Oh, and we got backstage passes for Blindside on april 1st. They have been one of my favorite bands for over five years now and it is going to rock like a hoe down.
Other new stuff too, but I would rather be reading right now.
