The one with The Pumpkin
I went grocery shopping with a guy friend of mine who shall remain nameless. He picked me up, we both did our shopping, and he dropped me back home. As he was helping me carry my groceries in, we had this conversation:
Him: "Pumpkin soup, huh?"
Me: "What????? What are you on about?" (keeping in mind it's July and this was completely out of the blue!)
Him: "Aren't you making pumpkin soup?" while pointing at the water melon I just bought!
Me: doubled over with laughter.
Random wondering: do they even sell pumpkins in July?
