Since it had been a few weeks since he put in the Venomous Tentacula variants, Neville figured it was time to see how it was taking to the transplanting and being outside now. He also wanted to check if it was having an impact on the natural wildlife. Having too many dead animals show up for no reason could make people suspicious.
The plants had a stronger poison and were more inclined to move towards any source of warmth. He had hoped that it would be able to catch even people using invisibility spells and charms. Neville cast a cooling charm to keep it from going after him when he was trying to work with it.
