By the time Elizabet fell asleep, Fleur's mouth was dry from storytelling and she thought Bill was finished with the wards. Or rather, she didn't feel any magic being done, and he wasn't moving about the room anymore, so he must have been done.
The blonde woman stretched as she stood from the bed, leaving her daughter curled up as she wandered over towards the window, her brow creased in worry.
She did not have to look to know that Bill was paying attention, because she could sense that he was--so Fleur said the words she was thinking. "If something happens to both of us," She said, quietly and without turning, "We should..." Fleur trailed off, turning this time, her back against the wall.
It was only putting to words what both of them had been thinking.
