Ginny had been cleaning out one of the still unused rooms of the Manor--though lately, with more members who couldn't afford to stay anywhere else, there were less of those--when she'd found an old wireless.

Angelina had been reclining on a sofa, staring off into space. While she hadn't come with the specific intent to talk to someone, there was something about knowing that there was at least a half-dozen other people around in case she did get the need that made hanging around the Order headquarters infinitely better than being in her own flat.

She looked up, grinning when Ginny entered, a wireless under her arm. "Haven't thought on it yet. I might, though."

Ginny nodded, setting the wireless down on the coffee table before settling into an armchair.

"I think we've managed to get our hands on some good cuts of pork chops that need cooking, if you like those. I say I think because I'm not sure if someone hasn't already gotten to them yet. I swear, with all that goes on here some days, it makes even the chaos I remember growing up seem tame, and that was nine of us in a much smaller house with two of those nine being Gred and Forge."

Angelina smiled at the mention of the twins, silently decided that when, not if because it was always better to be positive, she got hired, she'd have to drop by on the two if she could manage it, see how they were holding up.

"Sounds good." Angelina replied, pausing for a moment before saying, "I might stay. I still don't know if I have everything ready for my interview yet, though."

"Good luck with that," Ginny said. "I don't envy you, trying to get a job there. The dress code and the nine to five? I'd go mad."

Except she did, a little, if only because of the freedom a job like that afforded, while still contributing to the Order.

Ginny hadn't been free to pursue her individual dreams since the day Harry had died and being who she was made her an automatic target. So she just had to content herself with the fact that she was still able to do a lot of the things she dreamed about, with the Order.

Where would she be without the Order, she wondered?

"Any idea who's conducting it?"

Ginny wasn't even sure that they told people that, but they might.

Angelina laughed a bit at that. "Not a bit surprised at that, actually. I mean, if it wasn't for the Order, I wouldn't touch a Ministry job with a ten-foot pole. I'd rather be playing Quidditch."

Quidditch, playing Quidditch, was only one of Angelina's reasons for siding with the Order. Along with agreeing with them, and Olivia's death.

"Haven't the slightest idea, actually. A little familiarity with the person wouldn't hurt, though."

"Never knew exactly what it was I wanted to do, but being a Ministry drone? Was exactly what I never wanted. I just knew I wanted to travel, see the world a bit. McGonagall suggested Quidditch for that reason when I had careers advice, actually. But of course I can't play now."

Ginny wasn't bitter about this, just accepting.

She knew that if, given the choice between playing professional Quidditch and being a member of the Order, she'd choose the Order without any thought. Because what the Order was doing was meaningful. In fact, Ginny knew that even once the war was won (because it would be, one day) and the Order was disbanded, she could never consider Quidditch as a career again. And she didn't mind that one bit.

Angelina could be playing Quidditch, but she wasn't for the same reason that Ginny wasn't: because what the Order was doing was more important. And she was fighting for the Order for the same reason Ginny was: her family.

"You'd think they'd give you a name," Ginny commented.
