I'm sorry it's taken me so long to write again. I hope that everyone at home is well. I've just been so busy with work over here. I'm now a qualified Healer - Mum would be proud - and I'm working permanently at St Mungo's covering emergencies. I'm living in Birmingham, and I have a lovely flat which is now nice and cosy.
I wanted to write to you because I'm afraid you may have heard some rather terrible rumours about my being arrested and convicted of conspiring to aid a Mudblood. I'm sure you know I'd never do anything like that - you know me well enough to know what I would and what I would not do, so I'll leave it up to your own judgement. Suffice to say the erroneous accusations have been cleared from my record thanks to a...friend of mine in the Ministry.
I just wanted to let you know that I am safe, and that the work I came here for - the work that is so important to me - is going very well. I am contributing so much with St Mungo's here, I feel quite content. I only wish I had you and Emily with me. But you are both much better off in France where none of these silily troubles can reach you.
