my day at work
Today i painted plexi glass to look like stained glass.
it was fancy.
I was not.
check out my super hot safety glasses. :)
I know it looks like i'm just painting with a teeny sponge brush (and i am!) and what could be so dangerous about that? but i had 2 guys in front of me cutting chain link and huge chunks of metal were flying everywhere.
Lewis has been working on the chandeliers that the plexi gets attached to:
i love my job.
I did have brief moments of loneliness in my plexi world as everyone else was working on the last portal for the opera, or on different projects entirely, but it gave me time to plug myself into my mp3 player and rock out (well, not too much rocking out when i'm doing such detailled work but whatevs)...
And now we're back on 10hr days for awhile and saturday too. bah!
will definitely need dancing on saturday!!
