i haven't written anything forever. grad school is a beast, it turns out. we have 1500 pages a week of journal articles that we could be called on randomly to draw out on the board in front of everyone and writing assignments start this week. !!!! ah! life has simplified down and it's good and bad and mostly good i think. i find myself wishing for simplicity but not for what i knew simply. no more waiting tables, no more substitute teaching, no more state parks bs, no more crappy jobs. things aren't matching my interests yet and it is destroying my will to continue, but i substitute coffee and push through. i am going to make it. i am also going to whine along the way. some things never change. USA in the world cup as of tonight. some things that should are.
