It had been a week since the invasion ended, and Norman Osborn took over. Still other than a few more construction projects to repair damage done by the Skrulls, the park seemed relatively normal. It was still afternoon, and dusk a few hours away. Sparrow sniffed around excitedly, especially for markings left by other dogs

"Oh aye, ne'er seen a zoo 'fore."

"You haven't? Well come on, it's down this path." Kate picked up Sparrow to hold him as she headed toward the main gate. Admission and tickets were easy enough to get.

"We can set the basket down while we look."

"Aye, that'd be nice an Sparrow willna cause trouble?"

[nothawkingbird]

"He should be ok," Kate considered it since the other animals might react to him.

"Maybe I should drop him off in our room back in the bar for a little while." She came closer to give Will a kiss.

"I won't be long. I promise, ok?"

"If ye're sure, could just ask, sure 'e'll be fine."

"I'll go check." Kate hurried over to the information booth, and then came back a few minutes later after a brief discussion with the middle aged woman behind the counter.

"As long as he's well behaved, we're cool. A lot of people have their dogs through most of the park anyway."

Will looks down to Sparrow,

"Promise to be well be'aved, lad?"

Sparrow panted with his tongue lolling out. There were also tentative tail wags.

"I think that's a yes," Kate remarked, her steps taking her toward some of the exhibits, close to the temperate section. The sea lions were more to the center of the zoo and some exhibits away.

"Good, then we'll let ye down."

Will sets him down and starts to look around,

"So what should we see first?"

Correction maps are helpful, and they were actually closer to the sea lions just inside the entrance, and the temperate section was toward the rear of the park.

"There's the garden and sea lions over there. Easy to circle around to the exhibits."

"I'll just follow ye round then."

There was a fountain and pool toward the middle where barking could be heard as the sea lions swam around. Sparrow started to bark back, but Kate quickly hushed him.

Will watches them, "Strange 'uge things."

Kate went up to check the times for shows.

"Looks like they're done for the day with shows, we just missed the last one. They're trainable and the keepers have them doing tricks."

"Seems an odd sort o'thing to make 'em do."

"I think they like it? And they're rewarded with fish treats?"
