New York trip, continued to be really in NY

The plane ride was easier back into the States was easier than the one over to England, though jet lag was beginning to set in as they flew up near where the cabin was. The horses were in the stable already, but they were driven up since there were more luggage to deal with this time for the longer stay

"'rhaps some tea, na sure if ready to sleep just yet, so much 'as 'appened."

He kisses her forehead and visibly relaxes, this cabin is becoming more of a home in her world.

Kate was reassured by that as he relaxed against her.

"I'll go put the kettle on then. Can just take it easy either way."

"Aye."

He comes to help her and just be close as his hands rest on her hips as he kisses her behind the ear,

"Love ye, Kate, 'rhaps some o'that lovely light sort o'tea Lady Bar 'as, dinna 'member the name."

The kettle was placed on the stove, and the burner was turned on.

"I think we have something like that." She fished around in the cabinets, and her hands closed on the tin. She brought it down, and then twisted around so she could kiss him on the mouth.

Words haven't been terribly useful today so Will is just going to kiss and kiss Kate, moving her close to him so he can feel how she fits so right against him.

There was just a soft sigh of encouragement in her throat as she kissed him some more. She deepened the kiss as her fingers started to thread through his red locks.

So he moves her even closer, his hands on her waist turning into a hug before he stops to breathe and whisper,

"Forgive me, ne'er mean to 'urt ye."

"You're not, just don't have to do so much. Have to get strong again. We both do." She hugged him more, and rested her head on his shoulders.

His hand gets lost in her dark hair as the tea kettle starts to whistle,

"Aye, an we will."

"...I better get that." She disengaged herself from Will for the moment to go fix some mugs of tea for them.

Soon the smell of vanilla with interesting spices rises in the air as he looks at the fireplace and soon gets a fire going for them,

"Glad we've this 'aven 'ere, love."

"Thank my parents, they bought it a long time ago after all. Glad they never sold it."

And it'd be a shame to let it go to waste. She came over to the couch to curl, and handed him a mug as she sat down.

Soon he's wrapped around her and from a nearby table grabs a book,

"Was readin' this book 'bout Arthur 'gain, wished to read ye the one where Mort gets turned to a goose, since so lovely."

Kate nodded and smiled at him as she sipped her tea, "Go for it."

So he starts reading, the section isn't long but beautiful and soon they've finished their tea and he lays the book down and kisses her deeply.

The mugs were also set aside on a table, and her arms wound around him as she kissed him back. She was getting tired, but this was nice and relaxing too.
