my first day at nassau.
yesterday was my first day at nassau. i got there at 2pm and had to pay my bill, otherwise id be dropped from my classes. i had class at 2:30. well i waited on line for 45 mins, paid the bill and ran tword the area where i thought my class was. i couldnt find the N building. when i did, i ran twords it. got outta the rain and into class.
i sat down in my "understanding mass media" class. bunch of kids. the teacher seemed funny. i was worried about there being alot of essays, but no, not too many. so i think ill stay. we all went around the room and said somethings about our selves. when it came to me i said " um, hi, im gordon. um i work in a book store. i live in sea cliff. i play in bands." and instantly it was "do you play....", "do you know...." "can i come to your shows?" all these questions. the girls wanted me. the boys wanted to be me. it ruled. im so use to being in classes with all these rap chicks. bout time i get the attention i deserve. haha.
next class was beggining voice. oh yea! while i waited for it i got a cup of noodles. i ate that shit and watched the rain. thats when i saw terrie run by. (my ex ex). she goes to nssau now. so i got a good laugh. and then started talking to her. she didint know where she was goin. i told her. then we parted ways. and i went to my class.
singing ruled. learned so much. what to do wiht m arms and stuff. he showed me the lungs and how they work and how to prepare them for singing. i learned so much. so get ready for a whole new gordon voice. afer this class ill have the tech down. i cant wait to sound really good. the teacher wants me. hes a dude.
so after singing was finished i went to my "world today" class. the last class of the day. i have this class wiht mary and mike. so i was pyched, but when i get there, the class rooms empty. i didnt think much of it, "i guess there coming" i said to myself. thats when i heard my angels voice. "GORDON!" i turned around to see mary. "no night classes for a week" she says.
"oh fucking a sweet, howd you find that out?"
"mike called me and told me, and he was looking for you, so i came and got you so you wouldnt be stranded."
how great of a girlfriend do i have? came all the way back to get me and make sure i was ok. baby i love you so much.
so mary drove my ass home. we watched matchstick men. got tex mex and watched that mark decarlo american food show on the travel channel. i love that show. and then world series of poker at 9. she left at 9:23.
so i sat around got baked and stuff until 11. i kinda was getting bored, it was our first night for the rest of the year. lets get wasted. i talked to sam online. he said he brought over some beers. i called mike too, he was ganna stay in. sam came over and we played scoccer and watched simpsons dvds. drank some guinnesses.
so that was my day. after 3 simpson episodes i told him id have to get up in the morning. so he left. i made myself ramen. and went to bed.
