A new development following a landmark robbery in Las Vegas emerged today. The freakish, blackout that occurred during the highly anticipated Lennox Lewis/Wladimir Klitschko boxing match that lead to rioting all across casinos Las Vegas was sparked not by a broken circuit breaker as authorities initially thought. It was caused by an electromagnetic pulse (EMP) or a pinch that had been stolen from the California Institute of Technology the night prior. It is suspected that the thieves managed to break into the vault during this time.
Last night, during the blackout, the MGM Grand, the Belagio and the Mirage were robbed of over 150 million dollars in the span of two hours. It is suspected that they chose this night because according to Gaming Commission regulations, casinos have to have enough money in order to cover every chip in play on a casino floor.
Authorities are still on the lookout for those responsible.
