Y-yes. That year there was this mistletoe that covered ceilings. When you found yourself under one with a person near by you became trapped u-until you did what it wanted you to. M-Most time y-yo just had to k-kiss w-whomever it was but I heard hugging worked for some of the mistletoe.

O-Other than that, [he clears his throat] everyone in the city received a plant that grew within days. Despite what it grew to look like, everyone's fruit was different. For example, mine grew passion-fruit and I believe Shinjiro-san's was a cactus that grew watermelons.

Quite a few people received fruit that didn't match their plant. There didn't seem to be anything strange about the fruit. It was nice.
