CSI NY 'Point Of No Return' thoughts...
I watched the new episode of CSI NY that aired a few days ago. Ya know, the one that guest starred Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson. The one where Marty Pino returned. I sorta spoiled myself and read an early 'draft'/cast listing' of this episode about 2 months ago and knew what the outcome would have been. I'm angry, pissed off!
I just can't believe what has happened over the years since we saw Marty (about 3 seasons ago...damn it's been long & am surprised the writers haven't forgotton about him, just like they have with Detective Kaile Maka.) Anyways it's sad really..that gambling problems of his. I wished it had never happened. I wished that he didn't kill those addicts for his own addiction. (...sighs...) His wife Anabel was the real victim of this horrible incident. I feel for them both, especially Sid & Hawkes who considered Marty & Anabel friends. I totally agree with what Danny & Mac said about "he was one of us." He's "not capable of this" (murder.)
In ending, I consider "Point Of No Return" one of my favorite episodes this season. Seeing a past favorite character return is always a great thing to watch, even though in this case not a very happy outcome. Just tragic..;(
