I had Martyrdom stuck in my head thanks to Maddy, and then I saw
this fic of yours and was like "Wooooah, whadda coincidence."
Then I started reading it, and saw the 'make-up sex' line and was like "Yay for D/H smut!"
And then I continued reading.. and realised.
Wow.

Seriously. Wow.

I like char-death, and this was such an original way of presenting it. You write simply and sensitively, with no sense of melodrama at all.
