“If names are not correct, words do not follow truth. If words do not follow truth, work does not succeed. If work does not succeed, courtesy and music do not flourish and proper punishments will not be ordered. When proper punishments are not given, people do not know how to move hand or foot.

“Therefore, a gentleman must use appropriate names so that what he orders will be carried out properly. He must abhor incorrect words.”

He’s right. The first move is to battle for proper names of things. Leftists will oppose this every step of the way.
