Calnus crew, I'll be moving out with the others. If any of you want to come along, you're welcome to join me, but either way I'd like to know your plans. Bellwether, you too- will you be joining the fight, or staying in the village?

Sigmund, wherever you want me to guard, I'll be there. I'll trust your judgment in this case.

[Myuria's going to come outside and stretch. She's in a good mood this morning.]

I'm going out there. It's been a while since I've had a good fight.

[Crowe glances up as she joins him, screwing the bottom cap back on the saber.]

I figured that's what you'd say.

[She smiles and continues to stretch.]

This caged bird's going to enjoy her chance to really sing. Did you get your railgun back, by any chance?

[He's not watching her, noooo.]

Afraid not- I guess it's not the same kind of emergency as those transformations caused.

[She's doing these stretches for exercise, really. She knows she looks good.]

Damn. I guess they couldn't have made it too easy and just let you pluck them out of the sky.

[He'll just call it extra incentive to get them both back alive. |D]

It's a lot more satisfying to meet your opponents head-on, anyway.

[They'll need to have a victory celebration when they get back!]

Oh, definitely. I hate this whole "hiding behind a barrier" nonsense. I'd rather not lay down and die.

[Everyone will be celebrating by then |Db]

Same here. We'll show whatever's out there that we're stronger than they think.

[And they can go be merry like proper RPG protagonists! \o/]

For once, there might be a little justice in this place.

[Except Crowe's not a protagonist, he's a side character. D|]

No kidding. Though I wish we could get something out of it besides the right to live. The barrier's down at the temple, isn't it? If we had time, we could make it out of here, but we're needed in the fight.

[But he's a good guy and also a plot device. HE IS THE REAL MAVERICK DX]

You have a point. I hadn't even thought of it that way. I couldn't leave these people in good conscience, but I don't even know if getting out of here would be a good idea if I couldn't get back to En II.

[But Crowe Maverick just sounds silly.]

Yeah, that's another downside- even if we managed to get out, where would we go? It sounds like what's outside the barrier is a hell of a lot more dangerous than what we're facing in here.

[It's missing the edge that Crowe F. Almedio has, but he's still a maverick. /shot]

There'd be no purpose. We'd be on our own, but we wouldn't have the benefit of free food and supplies, nor the chance to try and get the others out. The danger I can live with, but not so much the fact of leaving the others behind.

[Crowe F. Almaverick then?]

I'm with you there. We'll just have to survive this and work double-time to get everyone home safe afterwards.

[So long as the F doesn't change from "Fucking" to "Fail."]

Until then, we'll give 'em hell.
