Ehh, this episode was pretty "meh" for me.

Good things:
-Robin and Ted's fight about the painting
- TED'S BOOTS. I so need an icon dedicated to Ted's boots. ("Pulling. It. Off." Hee!)
- Uh...Ted's hair being lame but awesome?

Bad things:
-No Barney/Robin interaction whatsoever! I mean, I know the show isn't really about them, but still.
- Erm, Britney did not do so well with her expanded role. Poor dear. I still love you, Brit!

And I'm not sure the retcon about Britney being the blonde behind "The Bracket" shenanigans really worked...because didn't whoever-it-was think she was sleeping with Ted Mosby, not Barney? Hence TedMosbyIsAJerk.com? And Brit definitely knows who the real Ted Mosby is, so...yeah. How does that work? Do I have my facts right, or am I on crack?

HOLY SHIT.

Just...wow. Wow. I wasn't even really paying attention to the first half or so of this episode, but the last few minutes just blew me away.

(Although it is strange how no one realized who CTB was when she was brought to the hospital- it's not like her face was injured badly enough to make her unrecognizable. But whatevs- it was more interesting finding out this way.)

I did find that whole thing about House-has-feelings-for-Amber was kind of odd, because it's been established that she is, essentially, the female House, so I don't think it's so surprising that he doesn't treat her with the same disdain as everyone else. That's not to say that he's romantically interested in her (please, God, no), but he understands her, sort of. (Am I making any sense at all here?) I guess maybe that comment of Wilson's was just foreshadowing for the whole did-they-or-didn't-they-sleep-together situation next week.

For my part, I will be totally pissed if they had an affair. Because I kind of like her and Wilson together. And next week, he's going to cry, and be all sad and stuff, and woe! Wilsooon!

(Live, CTB, LIIIVE!)
