Since I was still kind of miffed at How I Met Your Mother for...well, basically 90% of the last season, tonight I decided to watch the season premiere of House instead. And, um, it was...odd. The best way I can think of to describe it is to say that it was like watching a mediocre fanfic come to life, which is...not exactly what a show should aspire to. The writing was pretty bad in places, and it was crazy fluffy, which, since it's House, the show that hates fluff and love and happiness, made it very surreal. I don't even mind House/Cuddy as a pairing, and I thought it was a bit much. .
And it sounds like HIMYM managed to be delightful tonight, so apparently I made the wrong choice in my viewing material, dash it all. That'll teach me to deviate from my routine.
