AS PART OF YOUR THERAPY YOU ARE TAKEN FROM YOUR HOME\OFFICE, AND SHOVED INTO A LARGE ROOM WITH NICE PADDED WHITE WALLS. THERE WAS A NUMBER ON THE DOOR, WHAT NUMBER WAS IT (1-14)?

(You may also leave this room and pick another door if you're trying to find your way out, but the door will not unlock until you AT LEAST TALK TO THE OTHER PERSON IN THE ( Read more... )

#1. Because that is what Kaiba is. shutupandduelme January 3 2012, 04:36:01 UTC
This was a plot. It had to be. No one would ever lock Kaiba Seto up to try and help him no matter how much he probably needed it. But he would never reduce himself to pounding on doors pointlessly.

The brunet stood back to try and investigate the door, paying no attention to the rest of the room.

THERE IS NOTHING IN THIS ROOM KAIBA. So it's a good thing you're not looking in it. Nothing here. However, after a moment of investigating that door, a note drops down from the ceiling, hanging from what looks to be a fishing hook. Who the hell knows why.

On it is some very complicated math equation (whose solution ends in a number that is 2-14). Underneath it is another equation that ends in "____ is the number of minutes until the key appears". Then the door opens on its own.

TRY AGAIN LATER.

The note was snatched as fast as the Blue Eyes White Dragon snatched its prey. His long fingers crinkled it before he had even read the equation all the way through.

"This is ridiculous," he growled. "I'm not wasting my time with this." Even so, he left the first room. There hadn't been any other routes for escape in there. Perhaps he would be luckier and choose one along an outer wall.

The minute the door opened the man inside perked up. "Hey bab-" Immediately he drooped back against the wall with a very exaggerated huff, his very buff arms crossing over his chest.

"Man, where are all the hot doctor chicks in their white lab coats? I'm starting to suspect I'm not gonna find any."

You mean the worst thing you are a horrible person to subject the world to this. shutupandduelme January 3 2012, 04:57:54 UTC
The brunet drew up immediately, one eyebrow raising slightly as he gave the other man an appraising look. There wasn't much there to be impressed by. He had seen the type before.

"Usually finding the exit would be a bit more important," Kaiba finally said icily. "It's too much to expect that you would know where it is, isn't it?"

Johnny seemed less than impressed, titling his head further in a childish pout.

"Man, how am I supposed to know where things are in a place I've never been?" This guy was so stupid. "Until I know there aren't any sweet, beautiful ladies here waiting for Johnny's love, I'm not moving." He produced a mirror seemingly from absolutely nowhere and stared at himself for about five seconds before sticking his arms straight out.

"HUH. Oh yeah ladies. Johnny's ready for your test of love."

The longer he stayed here, the more disgusted he grew. Taking his chances outside was probably the best strategy.

"I would delay that meeting as long as possible, if I were you," Kaiba muttered as he strode out the door the exact way he came in. "Losing is death."

The room he backed into next had a scantily clad woman standing at the bars, trying to wedge a rather large, curved sword underneath the bars in the window.

"Damn it." She hissed as the metal bent, losing a piece. It was tossed very carelessly over her shoulder, with a large amount of strength somehow, and would come very close to hitting Kaiba. "Come on, come on..." She seemed to be trying to pry the bars off.

The woman was dressed ridiculously, but she wasn't talking to herself in a mirror. That was progress in this place, as far as Kaiba was concerned. Even better, she had a weapon and a window, both of which he could use. Well..use after he nimbly dodged the sword sent flying toward his neck. It was pried out of the wall as soon as it stopped quivering.

"If you tried to pry it at the weakest point, you might have done more than just ruin your sword," he commented dryly.

What was left of her chipped scimitar was drawn from the window immediately and pointed in Kaiba's direction. Her stance was one of someone very skilled, and her eyes were narrowed as she watched him very closely. She couldn't be sure that he wasn't an enemy.

"And who are you supposed to be, giving out advice like that?"

He would have to move carefully on this one, but it didn't mean he couldn't push forward at all. The brunet kept his eyes on her as he approached slowly.

"A prisoner, same as you," he said, his voice steady. "with the same goals, I'm assuming."
