It's been a long time since DOMA and the Orichalcos business. Perhaps you've forgotten all about it, the legends that went with it, the dragons and knights that went with it. Or like a jerkass maybe you've just been pretending it never existed in the first place, so what if it was filler, it was good. It's been years since then, years since the final duel, too. Atem seems to have settled nicely into Domino and your life.
And then one night there's a dragon's roar that echos far across Domino's skyline. The already dark night gets darker, the street lights blow out. This is obviously your cue that something stupid predictable terrible is about to happen. The dragon's roar can be heard once more before you turn towards Atem and he seems to be missing entirely. Surely he was just by your side, how could he have gone away?
You're surrounded at once by cloaked figures, even harder to see against the unusual blackness of the night. Fight you must it seems, and they probably have to do with Atem's disappearance. The dragon's roar gets ten times louder and in a shining burst of blue light a man appears in front of you- with a strangely familiar hair style. This not!Atem is wielding a sword, and he also looks highly injured already.
The next roar comes with a growl, and it seems to come from this man that you may or may not remember from that time so long ago. He raises his sword and in one clean sweep beheads the lot of them. The sword then comes to the ground and he's forced to lean on it heavily.
"Absolutely ridiculous." He growls.
