Life is so normal and common and usual and boring and natural and regular and typical and routine and commonplace and conventional and not special at all. Except apparently your life has been opposite day forever. Duh. ( Read more... )
Usually the two men tried to make it an issue not to bother Lelouch when he was busy. Some days that was harder than others, especially if he'd been away for too long a time. To say that either was clingy would be a rejected idea, no matter how true it was. Still, they respected the boundaries set forth by the other. ...most of the time.
For just that moment they seemed to be in an amicable peace. While not set on bothering Lelouch, they were content enough for now to just soak up his presence. The pair were draped over the couch, lying one next to the other and reading some book on the history of the world or something as equally boring.
The fact was that they weren't really reading. Every now and again both pairs of crimson eyes would tilt up and watch Lelouch, in an almost feline manner, before dropping back to the book and pretending they hadn't been doing anything at all. It seemed they might have been getting a touch restless.
The Pharaoh kept the gaze, acknowledging when he'd been caught. He smiled lightly, even, untangling himself from Atem and standing. After pulling the wrinkles from his clothing he started a slow, and as usual dignified, walk over.
"Whatever you're working on I could probably help. I have ruled a kingdom, after all."
Atem wouldn't take that sitting down and stood soon after. Though he wasn't going to seem as desperate as his other self was. He stayed in his place. "He didn't ask for your help. He doesn't need it."
The Pharaoh stopped just short of Lelouch's work desk once the computer was closed. He eyed it carefully before bringing his gaze back up to the other man's.
"Are you suggesting something?" He asked with a wry sort of smirk.
Atem, not about to be completely left behind, started making his way over as well. Though he found it rather ridiculous. Surely if they were going to do anything it would be near the couch and not so much the desk. But oh well. Being an alpha male sometimes lacked sense.
"Most of, but not all." Apparently Atem was going to try and be the voice of reason today. "Are you sure you don't want us to leave you alone?"
