...PONIES. :| *still doesn't understand, but plays along anywaiz*whitewizardboyAugust 26 2011, 03:05:01 UTC
Ryou sat at his game table, looking over his handiwork. A friend had asked him to create some toys for their younger cousin and he had been commissioned to create small horses.
Excuse me, ponies. Too small to be considered regular horses, he mentally reminded himself.
Finishing up the diorama of the ponies in the pasture, he rubbed his eyes and noticed how late it was. He put up his tools and set the display to dry overnight. Yawning, he stretched and went bed, clothes and all. He was too tired to even change.
Falling asleep, he had a strange dream of running across a grassy field like a wild horse, enjoying a good run. It felt so good, in fact, that it almost felt real, the grass; the wind; everything felt so real.
Waking up, however, he could feel that something was different.
Very different...
He was on all fours, his body felt heavier and he could feel something swishing behind him. Turning to look, he could see a white swishing tail behind him.
Wait... tail?
He neighed aloud in fright and jumped. He had a freaking tail, for goodness sake! And he had neighed too!
You were better off just running away, I swear. This is all their doing.note_atemAugust 26 2011, 03:13:54 UTC
"I don't remember falling asleep in a stable but could someone please control their horse?" Atem's tired voice came from a heap of hay just a few feet away. Tiny, beige, still with that ridiculous hair and a similarly colored pooftail to match; oh yes, ponies.
Only he seemed to be more interested in sleeping, or staying asleep, than realizing what the hell was going on.
Should I still run away then, now that I'm somewhat involved?whitewizardboyAugust 26 2011, 03:28:03 UTC
His ears flicked (oh gods, they can move on their own now!?) towards the familiar voice. He was a little less coordinated on four legs, making him more and more panicked.
"Atem-san! Atem-san!" he tried getting his attention. "Something's happened to me and I don't know why-" He looked at the small beige pony in the hay with the multi-colored tail.
Oh gods, him too!?
Trotting towards him, Ryou bent his neck down and tried nudging him awake.
"Atem-san, please, please wake up! Something's wrong..."
As far as you can get.note_atemAugust 26 2011, 03:37:31 UTC
He wasn't one to ignore a voice of panic. His ears twitched as he tried to wake himself up, trying to realize whatever was going on was probably not good. He yawned once before tilting his head up.
His eyes blinked open weakly, trying to take in the scene before him. A white horse was talking to him.
"...what manner of dream might this be?" It was rare that he realized he was dreaming, but not completely obscene, given what was going on.
"Why wouldn't this be a dream?" A horse was talking to him. He wasn't where he remembered drifting off. ...did he even remember going to sleep? Maybe not. And there was the curious case of ...
Well. He was a horse too, wasn't he? Standing, trying to get used to these new legs, he looked around. None of this seemed right. Even when ridiculous things happened there never really had been transformations.
"This feels too real to be a dream..." Better yet, you usually don't feel much in dreams.
Physically, anyway.
He paced around the hay bale, hoping that it could give him some sort of idea of what was going on.
"Okay, I was working on a model for a friend. It had horses and ponies in it. I cleaned up, let the model out to dry, and then I went to bed. How did turning into a horse fall into that?" It confused him greatly.
One step forward, then another, then another. He was quite unsteady on these new legs, exactly like a foal might be. Eventually he got the hang of it, but he didn't seem all too pleased.
"Models?" He remembered, roughly, a time where models and Ryou went together in a very dark way. But... there was no magic anymore. No items. That couldn't have been it. He huffed at the very idea, little pooftail twitching. "I don't know." He stated clearly.
He sighed, finally standing still for once. No need to get worked over something when neither of them knew how they got here or even why.
"There has to be a reason why we're... we're like this." He hoped and prayed that the items weren't at work causing havoc again like they did in the past. They were over those times now, they should be nothing more than a memory.

What on Earth was going on!?

He stepped back, still a little uncoordinated, but getting better at being on four legs.
"A-and, I think you've been transformed, too..."

Of the pony sort.
