You'd gotten so used to hearing them now that he'd spent ten years entwined personally in your life. They just didn't seem important anymore. He'd stayed, he'd grown attached to you; whether that was destiny or not didn't matter anymore. This

Yuugi paused when he relized he was facing himself, the 'who's next' barely even registered. His eyes wide.
So this was him durring that time, all the times he had blanks in his memory, the heavy feelings of rage...and madness.
"...!" Yuugi turned and bolted, not knowing what else to do!

It had seemed as if he was staring at other self. That was quite impossible. Yet somehow he knew he couldn't have been hallucinating it. He was still sure that he was residing in his other self's body, though, so the appearance of another one could only mean one thing.
"Impostor." His growl was loud as he took off after the kid.

He didn't even think to try to argue with this mad other of his. Just contenued to run as fast as his legs could possibly carry him, terrified.
"Not again not again not again!!"

So he had to catch this punk. Luckily, somehow, he knew these dark alleyways as if they were his second home. He knew which ones to twist and turn out of to end up right in front of the kid. And once he did his hand shot out to grab the front of his shirt.
The sennen mark was burning brightly on his forehead as he glared at him. "Explain yourself. Now." It might have been worth something to get a little information before they played a game.

"Atem don't kill me!" Yuugi begged. "I know it looks wierd! But it's me! It's me I'm Yuugi!!" he squirmed and kicked his legs. "Please please you have to believe me!"

"However you think you've found out about us, it doesn't matter. It ends now." Being Yuugi was impossible. He was currently residing in Yuugi's body. He didn't have one of his own. The only important thing here was that this person knew about Yuugi and he and that was dangerous enough on its own.

He pulled the other closer and then shoved him back with about as much force as he could muster. The puzzle started glowing. "It's time for a game."

"A-and...and...he's going to get bullied by several people and...A-Anzu! Anzu gets taken hostage at Burger World when it opens and you're going to save her!" he tried to crabwalk away.

"You should have taken your predictions to market. In this case you've already lost everything."

"You're a spirit with no memory, no name, and you want to protect Yuugi and his friends through your own means...violence...killing the bullies that hurt Yuugi..."

He bent down and reached forward to pick the other up by the front of his shirt again. "Who the hell do you think you are?" He was seething.
Reply
"Your name is Atem, you're a Pharaoh from Ancient Egypt!"
Reply
"Stop. Doing. That." He didn't know why the other was doing it or how but he couldn't take it.

"Th-then...I'll call you...Yami...Yami is okay right?" He tried. "Listen...okay it's alright. I'm telling the truth. I don't know how I got here, the last thing I remember I saw you die..."

If he was going to do something about the other he was going to have to do it now. "Pick right now." Another low growl, this time baring his teeth at the other like some kind of wild animal. "Do you want to live or die. I can grant you death easily if that's what you wish to choose."
