It's a bright beautiful day in the pokemon world! It had been a few days since you and Atem had parted, or have you not had the pleasure yet of meeting one of the world's most brightest pokemon minds? He's gained every single badge in every region and beat the Elites. A solitary character, though, sometimes he disappears completely out of view. A

"Atem!" Kaiba snapped, almost as if his rival slash...whatever he was's name was a curse. The small tusked pokemon he had been battling quickly panicked at the sight of Aerodactyl and disappeared into the bushes.

"Sorry." And he would at least apologize for it. "Do you want me to leave?"
Reply
"It's a little late," he remarked. That pokemon was long gone by now. "But perfect timing as always, considering it's you. I assume you wish to move on?"
Reply
"You can continue training. There has to be more pokemon around here. I can wait somewhere." He knew how important training was, especially to Kaiba of all people.

Usefulness, though, was never something he would trust the other to pick up on. Atem was still too hung up on making friends with every single pokemon he came in contact with. Kaiba figured he would be lucky if he could catch the thing properly while Atem was there watching. It would be more likely that the fool would walk over and start talking to it like an idiot.
So instead the brunet glanced back at the other. "It doesn't matter now. Let's just go."
Reply
"Give me a second." He felt like he should at least try to make up for it. Kaiba wasn't known for catching very many pokemon. If he could just find out what it was...

"I am fully capable of looking it up myself if necessary," he growled, staring Atem straight on. He wasn't going to put up with being treated like an idiot now. Not after the other man had cost him a catch.
"It doesn't matter if its gone. Let's just go."

A sigh came from him. "Where are we headed?" For once he didn't have a destination in mind. ...or was that more common now as he trekked around looking for Rockets?

"Asking me now?" he said mockingly. "Or is this just because you will pick up and leave again without warning?"
He shook his head and turned away. "I don't have any real place to go," he added quietly. "Just places to move away from."
Reply
He almost wanted to comment on his list of places to stay away from but that was one city and one alone. And it still was too much to share his business with the other. It seemed they mutually agreed on that much aside from the yelling and bantering and making out that occurred every once in a great while. But to leave it with nothing said was not like him. "Then to the next city." It was as easy an answer as any.

Kaiba's hands slid to his belt to re-secure his Pokeballs properly before he turned toward the path. It was smooth and wide, evidence of the many trainers who had walked these woods before them. It was likely they wouldn't have too much trouble...or might have too much. Kaiba wouldn't be too surprised if the Rockets would lay in wait on such a well traveled path as this. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like they had much of a choice.
"Then we really do need to get going," he urged. "It's a long way to the next town, and it gets cold here after dark."
Reply
Cold did not suit him well. He couldn't handle it more often than not. He was more susceptible to getting colds than anyone else he knew (the list wasn't long but not the point), and it just wore him down. "I could always fly us if you'd rather."
Reply
"Worried?" he asked, amusement tinging his voice. He'd take whatever advantage over Atem he could get, even if it was something as silly as worrying over the temperature.
Reply
It was just slight cold. He'd be fine. He even brought his sweater. So he'd be extra fine.
Reply
"Clearly something bad enough for you to consider flying," he remarked snidely. "And with me, no less. I would have thought it was just an excuse otherwise."
Kaiba, by contrast, wasn't doing anything at all in deference to the weather. Sure, he still had his long coat, but it didn't really have sleeves to speak of, and his shirt wasn't particularly thick. Still, he never did seem to be effected by rain or snow.

He heaved a deep breath in and then out. "Is that all you've been doing while I was out?" All of this just loosely termed. "Did you come across any more Rockets?"
