This had been hailed in the media as one of the biggest tournaments in the King of Games' career. Unfortunately you'd been unable to attend as a duelist, and even unable to accompany him as his significant other. You had been busy but he'd understood. A shame, he'd said, as he had been working on a really good strategy for the last few months. You

"That was exciting, wasn't it Kaiba-boy? Now I understand why you rushed all the way out here," Pegasus murmured, his hand coming up to rest against the incredibly tense CEO's shoulder. Or it would have, if Kaiba hadn't whirled around and caught his wrist in a crushing grip.
"Do. Not. Touch. Me," Kaiba hissed. He squeezed once more in final warning before dropping Pegasus' hand. "And stop delaying. You told me you would bring him up here."
"And my men are doing just that," Pegasus said with a grin. He was used to this sort of behavior from Kaiba Seto, but not to this degree. Having seen the brunet's reactions to the match, he thought he had an idea why. "I'll be out of the way, and you can give him his prize personally."
"Hn," Kaiba grunted, turning back toward the window looking out on the stadium as Pegasus moved to leave the room. Suddenly he abruptly turned on his heel, causing Pegasus to freeze in his tracks. "Cameras. Turn them off."
Pegasus sighed dramatically. "Oh noooo, how could I have forgotten. Silly me," he said, reaching over to press a button on his desk. All the power went out in the room. "It's the only way to shut them down completely, not that I think you'll have any problems with it. But you better get ready, Kaiba-boy. I think I hear Croquet coming with our champion~"
"Just get out!" Kaiba snarled. Pegasus just laughed and flounced out.

It left him slightly unsure, tense, disliking this situation entirely. Once they stopped at one of the rooms within the stadium he turned to the other. He'd only gotten an instruction to go in there before he left. He could have tried leaving now, but he was nothing if not true to his word. He said he'd go.
So reaching towards the doorknob he stepped inside, the darkness surprising him, unnerving him even more. "What games are you playing now?" His voice was rough as his eyes tried to adjust and search as quickly as they could.

"The same game you started when you summoned the first God in one turn," he proclaimed boldly, turning toward Atem with a sweep of his coat. "Something Pegasus wouldn't understand, with the cowardly way he duels. Something your opponent didn't understand either. You wasted it on him."

The befuddled look on his face was a little too slow for his tastes to be removed but he smirked once he got over the initial surprise.
"I play the way my deck wants to play. It was unfortunate, I will agree, that you were not standing on the opposite side of the field for this one."

"And now it will never work on me," Kaiba said confidently, "now that I know how it works in play. Your beautiful trick will be seen only once."

Still, he managed to keep smirking for now. "A shame. I'll have to think of a way to top it." He reached out, just to place his hand carefully on the brunet's chest. "...beautiful?"

The hand on Kaiba's chest moved up to the back of his neck as he leaned up on his tiptoes to ease the pull on his shirt and the difficulty of their clashing heights in general. He was quick to give in, but wouldn't so easily be dominated in it, giving Kaiba a nip to his lower lip.

"No," he said, his breath already reduced to panting, "I have to top it. Then you have to top me, that's how this works." He experimentally gave the shorter duelist a push back towards the desk. This wasn't a time for soft couches or a cushioned floor, though Pegasus had both available.
His hands started pulling at Atem's clothes, practically shredding them off in his haste.

When the other started speaking he found himself disappointed, looking up at him with an undeniable heat on his face, his chest heaving with needed breath. "I hadn't realized you drew up a formula for this." Though it sounded amazing, to be sure.
The push towards the desk was met with no resistance, though his hands left Kaiba to move back against the surface carefully, nearly surprised that it was there. He quickly found himself twisting to try and aid Kaiba's quick actions in getting his clothing off, not wanting it to be ruined and ... yes, wanting this more than anything he suddenly realized. His jacket was dropped to the floor, followed by his shirt and a careful removal of the Duel Disk before he hopped to sit up on the desk. He couldn't help a smirk. "How bad do you want it right now?" He just couldn't help himself. In this situation he still needed to taunt his rival.

"Most beautiful thing.." he gasped in one of the short stretches he gave himself to catch his breath, "I have ever seen."

Trying his best to do something other than lie there and let Kaiba turn his skin dark purple, his hands lowered, tugging his shirt free and sliding his hands up his chest. "I'm glad you were able to see it in person." His voice was on edge, full of uneven breathing.

"..wouldn't miss it for the world," He replied honestly. He loved watching Atem duel, though he would never admit it in those terms. Watching his rival crush opponents made him feel stronger. Only he came close. Only he would win, some day. It wasn't nowhere as nice as playing Atem himself, but he would take it.

"Good." It was. He liked knowing when Kaiba was watching him. Not that he'd give his opponents any less but it made him feel stronger, an urgency to do better, to show off as much as he could. Tonight he showed off about as best as he could. And he was paying the price for it.
