You remember telling him, "You can't bother me while I'm busy." Not in a cruel way and you certainly didn't mean it the way he was taking it. What you meant was that he shouldn't try to bother you. Maybe mid-terms are coming up or maybe it's something just as important somewhere else. However maybe you forgot you were speaking to Atem.

lol what is logic or canon whocares~ )
The accountant's presentation seemed to buzz into the background. It was always this way when reports were due to the shareholders. None of it, however, was anything new to Kaiba Seto. He went through every budget readjustment as it came out. He had already accepted that this meeting would mainly be about keeping the presenters on their toes, even while all he really wanted to do was render the borrowed Millennium Puzzle, still in his office, into their upcoming Egypt MMO. His slender fingers had been drumming on the table since the meeting had started. Every so often they would change the rhythm or stop completely. The presenter jumped every time. It was the most amusement Kaiba could get out of these things, usually.
At least until now. Someone was watching him, Kaiba could feel it. He had glanced around the room several times now, but all eyes were on the accountant. He still felt it, as well as the odd feeling that he WOULD know who was looking at him if he actually tried. That feeling only came when Atem...or his magic, were around. Which was impossible. The pest was banned from the office. That should have fixed everything, right?

Faded crimson eyes were watching the entire presentation with a mild disdain. Turning his entire culture into a game-set wasn't really something he was enjoying. Kaiba should have known better, in fact he probably did somewhere in him. He was probably just doing this to annoy Atem. And so Atem would annoy him.
...or better.
He moved around the room, visible to only one man in there. Said man was his target destination and once he approached he finally managed a smirk, leaning his hip against the table as he reached out to run a finger up the length of the CEO's neck.

There was another movement out of the corner of his eye. Kaiba would have spared a glance, if not for the finger suddenly running up his neck. The CEO tensed so quickly he might have fallen back from the chair. Such was his poker-face, however, nobody would have noticed if not for the poor accountant. He was so attuned to his boss's body language that he jumped and squeaked where Kaiba could not.
"K-Kaiba-sachou...is there something..wrong?" the man stammered, leading the eyes of the seated men in the room directly to Kaiba. The CEO inwardly cursed, but took the opportunity.
"Only that you are repeating exactly what was in the budget report that was sent out weeks ago, Kanagawa," he replied, nothing in his voice betraying how unsettled he was. "Perhaps we may continue on and find out who doesn't read their emails, hn?"
"I....yes sir. Of course sir. I'm sorry sir," the accountant replied, following it with a series of bows that would have had Kaiba rolling his eyes if not for the setting.

Profiting from his culture was not okay in his book.
He moved behind the CEO's chair, wrapping his arms around the man's shoulders and running his lips against the brunet's ear. All feathery-light barely-there touches. As much as he could manage in this form.
'Seto...' The voice only in the space between their minds.

Though it took everything he had not to growl at the voice. He hadn't thought he was so close to collapsing. Usually he only heard voices at his most exhausted. Had he gone a week without sleep without noticing? It had happened before. He shook his head slightly and reached to the middle of the table to refill his coffee cup.
He had to buy himself a little more time. The coffee would help.

His hands smoothed down that broad chest, pressing delicately, fingers playing with each movement. His lips pressed against the man's neck before biting the skin somehow through the shirt. He was a ghost, what did clothing really matter to him?
It was lavished over with a swipe of his tongue and a soft sigh, warm air (somehow again) right in the CEO's ear.

One of the other executives reached forward hesitantly. "Kaiba-sachou, are you..?"
"I'm fine!" Kaiba hissed defensively, just trying to focus on ignoring whatever hallucinations were plaguing him. "Go fire whomever made this shit. It's settled into mud."
"..yes, Kaiba-sachou," the man said quickly before getting up to leave the room.

'Seto...' He practically purred again. His hands trailed the rest of the way down Kaiba's abdomen to settle on brushing his inner thighs. Now the real fun happened. Though Kaiba didn't seem to understand what was going on. Maybe if he had there would be more yelling going on. Hm... he wondered how much he could swing his innocence in the face of Kaiba's denial of magic and ghosts.
'I miss you...' Another wispy statement accompanied with a nibble to his ear.

He inhaled slightly through his teeth, his legs pressing more tightly together. That voice...it was Atem's voice. Since when did Atem become the voice of his subconscious? He made a mental note to look into better sleep aids later on.

A few slow, gentle kisses were pressed against his jawline. 'Nnn...' He was interested to see how much of this Kaiba would tolerate. How much he could take.

But for the moment, he didn't exactly have time to work it out. Kaiba had to lay all his concentration into limiting his reaction to grit teeth and a fist slowly curling into his leg. Pain he could tolerate to almost extreme levels. This was a torture he had never suffered before.

'Relax...' Still an airy tone so as to avoid completely ordering him to do something. More like a suggestion as the fingers on the brunet's thigh moved upwards to ghost against the man's groin again.

Whatever his suspicion, he wasn't going to acknowledge this bullshit by joining in on it. He could, however, test the theory. Calmly, his hands rose to his laptop to type out a quick question. A hallucination certainly couldn't read it or respond.
You have one second to go back to your little golden grave upstairs.

One hand moved up Seto's arm, his other still moving along the man's thigh. He went a little silent as he weighed his options of whether to answer back with mental speaking or to just ignore it all together. The phrase golden grave once double checked was what solidified his decision to remain quiet about it. Instead he kissed the man's neck again.

The brunet frowned slightly and shifted to press his hand to his sinuses. He could ignore this. Absolutely. He could do anything when he had to. The longer that...whatever it was stayed where it was, the longer he had to get used to it.

The touching ceased for just a moment as he leaned up. His eyes scanned the room. It was a little nice to be able to do whatever under the guise of shadows. That was a thought he hadn't had for a long time.
Ignoring any laws of physics or logic, who cared he was a spirit, he moved between the table and Kaiba and shifted to sit in his lap. His arms wrapped around the brunet's neck as he looked up at the man.
