dude. barack obama is coming to nissan thursday! how sweet would it be to cover that? though i bet you dollars to donuts (what does that mean anyway?) i won't get to go/cover. saaad. i didn't even vote for the dude. but i've heard/seen that his rallies are pretty darn ...enthusiastic? i don't really know. i just think it would be neat. and i will respond with bitterness and quiet jealousy to whoever gets to cover him.
it would be far more convenient for me if he had decided to come to nissan on friday. i will be camped out there all day for high school graduations. though i'm 99% sure no one around here would invite him to speak at a high school graduation, citing concerns about the speaker overshadowing the very unimportant high school seniors or something. lame.
but oh man, the flip side of course is that traffic going to nissan on thursday will be INSANE. that's a poorly planned two lane road. it's awful. under normal circumstances. plus this will be rush hour+big event+lots of onlookers/rednecky protesters+rubberneckers. so maybe i don't envy whoever has to get stuck in that mess. well, yes i do.
