Roman calendar hooplah went well; can't believe it's the two-thousand-and-sixth year of history already. Hot damn. Bring on the nanotechnology and floating white-picket fences 'cause this year is going to be...well, I guess I thought the same thing about 2005- it'd be the same old wagon war and hippies smoking their pot. But fuck, 05 caught me a bit off guard I must say. Time to finally mortgage me off a piece of that globalization pie while I still can cause it's hot and steaming and going fast. Wow, the latter half of a decade I still forget started. I'm still using 2000 as a flag for reference. 2006, the year this administration will give future historians a supposed reason for being hailed. Maybe not though. Meditating on that just gives me a headache. That's why I'm casting politics as the biggest drag of 05. Any counters?
