→ WHAT IS UMI'S LIFE aka. plot heads-up, kids
...Guys, sorry so late. Now I know what Umi's involvement in this plot will be like I can keep you informed about stuff your characters should know of. I only finished the thread that kicked the plot into gear last night. SO. Not sure if you've read about this plot already. But Ken is involved as a direct victim and so Umi's participation is kinda duh. Here's what happened:
→ Ken has been affected by it and went all psycho murderer on people last Sunday.
→ Umi chased him through half The City and stopped him --which was awesome because she had the chance to use her magic the right way and make it work.
→ Mara and Umi were both hurt, traumatized and injured, but still got the guy to the hospital together.
Now for the important part, WHAT THE BEACH HOUSE RESIDENTS SHOULD KNOW:
♫ - Please assume Umi phoned around yesterday telling everyone what transpired and that she's alright (LOL sure).
♫ - Umi walked out of that one with a broken arm she got treated at the hospital after Ken was looked at, but it's not healed yet.
♫ - As things stand, she's probably not going to be around at all due to camping out with Mara and possibly Aya at the hospital to see how Ken's evolving.
♫ - She'll likely talk to the police tomorrow.
♫ - She kind of hates herself for being unable to stop Ken from killing much sooner, not to mention stop him from hurting Mara.
♫ - Wiiiiiith some luck she'll still get a happy Christmas if Ken gets cured as is planned.
♫ - If all else fails (and Ken's player's down with it) she may ask Clef to help cure her bro with a potion. But that's kinda tentative yet.
ALSO. Around Sunday late afternoon, all of you magic-sensitive people might have been able to feel a great influx of water magic the moment Umi was able to have her new powers under complete control for the first time since they woke. That's mostly for Clef, Fuu and Hikaru, I think. But it happened. Seeing a loved one in danger does the trick. [ And I swear I'm giving you a rundown of WTF is going on/will happen with her magic here. EVENTUALLY. But that's for after the holidays. ;; ]
