a sad day
So, today was my last day of OB/GYN. It has been a great rotation. My doc I was with agreed with my thoughts on a lot of things such as fetal monitoring, VBACS, breastfeeding etc. It definitely cemented OB/GYN into my list of choices of specialties. I sure did like delivering babies..and the surgeries!
Although, today I did witness my first circumcision. It was HORRIBLE. I can't believe people do that do their baby..it is so awful. The baby is all strapped down and what not and screams the worst scream ever. I just can't imagine doing that to my 2 day old child! Traumatizing.
Next I do Radiology..should be laid back with really great hours!
