Choose My Own Adventure: Conclusion - The Results Are In!
If I had ever gotten around to setting up whatever needs setting up to allow me to make phone posts, then around 5PM you might well have refreshed your friends page and found a post very much like the following:

There I was, merrily making my way east on I94, just about to hit some heavy rush hour traffic when all of a sudden, the car that ten minutes ago had been liberated from The Shop for the second time in as many weeks started to lose power.
And I uttered a "fuck" and I made my way to the side of the road, angling for the impending exit ramp onto Dale Ave. in St. Paul.
I coasted most of the way up the ramp, the engine having died altogether about half-way up. I hit the emergency lights and once I rolled to a stop, I threw the car into Park and restarted the engine.
Barely.
I made it the rest of the way up and it died at the corner. I restarted it, gunned the engine, and threw myself around the corner onto Dale Ave. Most of the way down the block it died again and I restarted it once more. I gunned the engine to get as much momentum as I could and coasted around the corner, pulling to the curb across the street from the above church.
I popped the hood and got out. The engine? Oh, she is still faintly smoking from the same spot.
I called the shop. "Hi, this is John. I just drove out of there in the Stratus that just died on the goddamn freeway!!!
The Man was utterly apologetic and I calmed down right away. A tow truck was called and eventually brought me back to the shop once more.
Tow Truck Guy: "So that'll be-"
NotBatman (pointing at Shop Guy): "He'll take care of you."
Inside, more apologies ensued. I could tell that they felt like assholes which did a lot to temper what (little) was left of my, uh, temper.
So I have the white car again (it's a Taurus. yes.).
Therefore: In regards to my previous post: She got the day wrong, but I'm going to hand the blue ribbon to rora who voted: For Adventure Tuesday Wednesday, NotBatman is going to slam his loaner car into every snow bank between here and Canada!"
