Still love Boston Legal. And it's fun that my dad loves it, too. He was lamenting tonight that it "really needs to be two hours long". Shatner and Spader are just magic together. Too bad there isn't an Emmy for "Best Duo" or something... And it's weird...the cases are always entertaining, but I can really take or leave them. That show's money is in character interaction. Good times.
I have all sortsa birthday plans upcoming. I'm going to Florida the weekend after my birthday to visit family (Tampa, FL, to be precide....Parrish, FL to be even moreso). And the weekend before, I'm going to hang out with Brenna (I'd do a neat LJ Name-Link thing, but I don't know how. You just get to be Brenna :p). That'll be fun. I don't get to harass my old stomping grounds (West Mifflin/Century III area) all that often these days. And they took the pet store out of my mall. Sadness! How could they? Where will I play with random kittens now? WHERE? And, okay, I guess those two events are my "all sortsa" plans. But two! That's pretty big for me. Who knows what else may present itself? Probably nothing. But maybe!
My Seahawks are following a disturbing trend. In 2004, they started 3-0. I blinked and all of the sudden they were 3-3. In 2006, they started off 3-0. Again, I blinked. Again, 3-3. This year, we started off 3-1 (should have been 4-0 barring a fluke play). Suddenly, we are 3-3. It baffles me how we start so strong and then flop mid-season. The nice thing is that in both 2004 and 2006 we ended up in the playoffs. So we should totes strive for that again.
Rargh. My Shift key is becoming more unruly by the day. I really need to get my computer in to Best Buy. My warranty is good until mid-May. I've been slacking. But I like capital letters. And Question Marks (?) instead of Slashes (/). Especially since I'm gettin back into the writing thing.
Speaking of mid-May, it's been 5 months since Cassie and I broke up. Is it horrible that I realized that? And that I realized half-a-year will be 4 or 5 days after my birthday? Hum! Four-or-five days after my birthday was also when Trinity had cheated on me for the first time (sorry to bring that up...you know I still love ya. but I told you...I never forget anything. it's my curse). But yeah, Five months...
Current quasi-lamentation of my life? On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have to get up at 5:50AM. That's crazy! I have never regularly had to get up that early. Even in high school, it was, like, 6-something. That alarm goes off, and it hits me like a hammer. I have always fancied myself a morning person...I do NOT do the snooze alarm. Never in my life. When I'm up, I'm up. But I have to lie in bed for a bit before I can get up after that alarm. It's a force-of-will thing.
All right. I'm totes going to send out an email I have no business sending, I think. Awesome. :) Thanks for taking the time to read my drivel!
