(no subject)
Man, I've done more job-hunting this week already than I have in any week in recent memory. Note to the University of Pittsburgh and their PittSource site: visit Carnegie Mellon's career site. THAT is how a job site should work. Easy to navigate, savable searches, and it doesn't take forever answering redundant questions to register. But in the past three days, I've taken down Post-Gazette.com, Pittsource, and CMU. Tomorrow will be...Um. I dunno. A different site. Robert Morris, maybe. Or Seton Hill. Or National City. They actually gave me a call-back once this year.
Hey, Friends List People, I need some assistance. I got a Blockbuster subscription (like Netflix!) for Christmas, and I'm working on a list of stuff that I'll want before I register and have it start. Any suggestions. So far, I've got:
1) Little Miss Sunshine
And, uh, I was going to get that anyway, but thanks, Erin. :)
I want an ample list of movies before I register. I'm going to use the hell out of this thing. This is going to subtley be my favorite present ever. How many movies can I watch in a few months? A LOT.
Fun fact: on my dad's blockbuster membership (not online, in store), he had FIFTY-TWO free movie rentals last year. And you get one free rental for, about, every two regular rentals. And we cut back on rentals dramatically after my hours switched. If they hadn't...we'd have been over a hundred. B'LEE-DAT!
Okay, I've listened to The Pick of Destiny twice this morning. My socks are sufficiently rocked-off for the day.
I don't think the root beer float I had at 10am counts for breakfast, so I better get something to eat before I leave.....
