Don't focus your energies on me, or on us. We will always be together. I will always be here, through thick and thin and right now, I want what's best for you and what's best for you is to get established into a job or jobs that will allow you to start saving money. That is what is going to lead to your happiness; our happiness. I don't need for you to put all of your energy into us. I know how powerful our relationship is and how much you love me. That will never change, so don't focus your energy on us... focus it on yourself right now... please... for me. Just know that I am here to support you and be with you while you work towards your goals and I am ok with not being top priority right at this moment. Ultimately, I know that I am top priority, but to get where we want to be in this relationship, we both have to work really hard for ourselves, at our own jobs to build a financial stability for OUR future. We have worked for nearly two years perfecting our relationship. We have achieved that goal, let's move towards perfecting our future and our future starts with each of us as an individual. No rings, no ominous plans, just hard work and trust that we will be together and that we are doing everything in our power to set up a future for us, together. And right now that trust and step that will empower us to a great future is figuring out our individual career goals and becoming individually financially stable. We can't depend on one another until we can depend on ourselves.
I will do anything to help you realize your goals. Please don't let your goals be based around anything anyone else wants. Acheive YOUR dreams, no one elses. Don't do things for me or for family, do things for YOURSELF. You owe yourself that and that, my love, is truly the only way you will be happy. Live for yourself and your goals.
