My computer is broke.
This is from my mom's computer.
My computer is gay.
I DOUBT anyone will have advice, but here's the story:
I couldn't get my Sims to Install. I kept getting an error about some Windows 16-bit Subsystem. But nothing was really WRONG. I just couldn't install the Sims.
I tried everything I could think of. Fidgeting with security. Disk cleaning. Blah blah blah. Then I thought "Maybe it's since I got all those Windows Updates last month". So I went into the System Restore and set my computer to Save my current settings and then reload the settings I had last month before I Windows Updated. Computer said it would need to shut down to Restore, then it would Restart.
Okay.
So It went into this whole System Restore thing and the bar filled all the way up and my computer shut down.
Then it restarted.
But it didn't.
Ever since I did this, my computer will turn on, get to the whole Pre-Windows (loading XP yadda yadda) screen, then it just gives me a black screen with a mouse curser. And it stays there. For at least 16 hours without ever moving on to anything else.
Help?
If you can fix my computer which I DESPERATELY DESPERATELY need this week/month/future/now, I promise to write an entry about my SWEET spin-move I pulled off last week. It's worth it.
