First of all, it was nice of The Office to bring back its A-game after the first two episodes back from the strike were average and worse. Tonight was a renewal of faith, though. I really disliked last week's episode, minus the Jim/Pam stuff. This week's was good all around. One of the 3 best episodes this season (with Dunder Mifflin Infinity and Branch Wars).

Tonight also marked the end of my dad and I watching Thursday night TV together, too, as both The Office and Supernatural are back in new episodes.

Sigh...30 Rock is on now. This show has never made me laugh so much as once. Who the hell critically acclaims this show? It's not funny at all. Oh, Will Arnett is on, though. Maybe I'll struggle through. I hear the episodes he is on are good.

Odd realization: I have been broken up with Cassie longer than we had been dating, but I still have not been broken up with Stacey for as long as she and I had been dating.

That seems weird. All events seem like they were so recent. It's hard to believe I'm dating myself back to...2003? Summer 2003. Doesn't seem that long ago.

My brain is vivid and fresh. It must be because I did Sudoku today. BrainAge keeps my brain strong! But it seems like everything is so brief and recent in my memory. I don't know why.

This isn't really supposed to be "emo" or sad or anything. Just a thought I had while I was jogging earlier. Figured I'd jot it down. If you asked me to answer without thinking, I'd probably say that it seems like the entire span of my life from dating Stacey to breaking up with her to dating Cassandra to breaking up with her all occured in the last two years.

Am I turning old? Is life just starting to "move fast" and I am losing perspective? Dear god. I'm an old man. I need to play more Sudoku and do more brain exercises!

There's not nearly enough Will Arnett in this show. Still haven't laughed.

Tomorrow night the Penguins start round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs. I'm just thrilled to have made it further than we did last year (and, indeed, AGES). Rangers is going to be a hard series....They were 5-3 against us this season, and 4-0 in New York. We need to learn to win there and keep the series close. Luckily, Marc-Andre Fleury has been playing LIGHT OUT the past few months. He should be our MVP of recent memory.

I think we can beat the Rangers. I hope so. If only they hadn't been pwning us all year! Rar!

And the Seahawks cut Shaun Alexander. It inspires sadness in me. But I guess it had to be done.
