Yeah, things like that kinda happen here. Guns...old work uniforms...doesn't matter, you'll still get 'em sooner or later.

It seems more intangible gifts can be delivered as well.

If you don't mind me askin', what did you get? Because I was kinda under the impression that all you could get back was your belongin's. Like they decide to raided your home 'n started sendin' you your things.

No, I've been told you can regain basically anything they've taken from you. For instance, aliens who had a different body, or people who had superpowers.

I got back a knife and the wound it caused.

I guess there were a few things that brochure didn't mention. Powers yeah, but not the aliens 'n different bodies stuff.

Really? Did you...I dunno...cut yourself or somethin' after you got it or did you get the wound back too? Because if it's the latter, then that's the first time I ever heard anythin' like that.

The latter. As soon as I touched it, a rather prominent head wound that I used to have but had been removed upon arrival suddenly reappeared, healed, but with all the pain and blood as if it had just been inflicted.

Was the knife cursed or somethin'? Even if it wasn't, it's still kinda strange but interestin' at the same time.

It's a perfectly ordinary knife, at least to my knowledge. If there's anything strange about it, it's because of this town.

It would seem "old wounds" are within the possessions they took from us when we arrived, and therefore something they can just as easily give back.

[It was like fighting Scardead, but this only caused a wound she always had, not opening ones that had healed]
