Sleeping for a week was unfortunately out of the equation, but he didn't entirely need to, anyway, running now on a clean arc reactor. The stopgap had alleviated symptoms, certainly, but the underlying cause had still been there, and he hadn't realized how much it had been quietly running him down. Especially given how close to the wire that had been.
From a week or two, to however long he could keep outsmarting whatever was trying to kill him.
He figured that was probably a while.
Just had to do a better job of keeping the attempts from hitting bystanders. Not that you could call Duo a bystander, but the principle was the same.
So, that his part in the matter needed recording, he was set on. Peter's, he didn't know, which was why he crashed whichever class was currently on, striding blithely in and solving what was on the board without a word to anyone before waving the class -- which he still did not look at -- off.
"Go read chapter fifteen. There'll be a quiz."
