State of the Pups!
Arya Stark:
Has some various dramas going on, in that she kissed someone who isn't her girlfriend (who she's never actually called by this and hasn't established that's what she is, because she's weird) and is now (not so) cheerfully pretending she didn't, and it remains to be seen what'll come of that and if O-Ren will find out. Further troubles ahead after Stark Reassembled -- commonly known as Space Station Plot, it's a thing, okay -- as, well, there's a part of that which will affect her which is as yet a secret. Is acquiring a bunch of swordfighting teens, all of a sudden, it delights me. She's still undecided about her ~future~ which is pretty normal for seventeen. Also, holy shit, she is seventeen. If someone apped Jon -- if he wasn't retired, and all -- but if someone did, she'd be older than him. The weirdest thing.
NDPD: Undecided still. Possibly a hunting rifle, since she already hunts and it'd be useful and a gun, but on the other hand, more weapons? I've thought of 'Riza plates (and then she and Quorra could bond over throwing discs, obviously) as a similar measure and a tangible link to the past, but again, weapons. Don't have any non-weapon ideas, though. Some sort of cool lightweight body armour?
William de Worde:
Second anniversary coming up, followed by Olivia's first birthday, must really update her wiki and fill in some stuff. Need to interview more people, maybe grab hordes of people following the space station incident for fun interview time. Sort of weird for him, not having Vimes; they were hardly friends, but he was ex-Ankh-Morpork, William respected if not liked him. Not that he doesn't respect other people, but he was Vimes, you know? Anyway. Olivia needs a first word, Mala and I can't decide/agree, it's an important thing! Will be standing up soon, walking also in the near future, insanity. William also needs some friends, always a tricky business since he's not really a friend-maker.
NDPD: Nooo idea.
Spike Spiegel:
Will be so mad he's not in space when madness goes down. I could put him up there, but I'm limiting myself because I'm going to be busy enough as it is without putting in more ground level pups. Things might get shaken up with Rogue, too, or settled where that's at, now that Gambit's gone, and then it's just a matter of... sorting out that crazy, somehow. Homeplot when homeplot rolls around, back to the Bebop and possibly Syndicate Adventures, wooo.
NDPD: Thinking of pre-cut materials for making a small sloop. He'd be mad about having to make something, which is very Spike and then he could sail around and it'd be something to do, some mild form of travel.
Keith Mars:
IPD to run, which I need to get on doing another bout of organization on, do a little recruitment drive since the numbers are down. Not that they need to be up, but they could do with some more, I think, and especially some new desk jockeys. As always, tangential involvement in whatever mad crime plots come along is his deal, although maybe I should find something else, also. Clearly Aphrodite should set him up on dates, he's an eligible bachelor. He used to be cool.
NDPD: Surveillance gear, maybe, like Vee got a while back. So obviously she has that, but he should have his own. You never know when a Mars vs Mars scenario is going to come up again. Also, borrowing your daughter's kit for shady investigations is a bad look.
Wolverine:
Probably not going to space, depends what the X-Men shenanigans up there end up looking like. Mostly I just like frustrating him, and I want to save the claws for something a little more... I can't say eventful, I believe this qualifies as eventful, it is an event, but there'd be so much going on that he'd just be a guy with claws and bleeding hands, I don't know. When they come out I want it to be a ~moment~, maybe I'm being too precious. ...or I could send him, he could do without the claws, and he could save Bones. Because obviously saving Jean's boyfriend is just the thing.
NDPD: Cigars, baby. Take that, Marvel's decision to remove all smoking from their comics! He will not be denied!
Tony Stark:
