"Alright, Jarvis, you getting this? This is test seven. Last one didn't count," Tony said, holding his hand about a foot away from the gauntlet.

It was sitting on his workbench, which was new. Tony had built a small shelter around it, until he could move it to the house. But he'd arrived at the scrapyard, it had been sitting there, full of all sorts of useful tools, advanced tools, and he hadn't been able to stop himself from tinkering with some things he'd been meaning to tinker with.

"On my mark, activate- how does auto-valet sound? Sounds a little lame. We'll work on it. Mark."

The gauntlet jumped from the table to his hand, pulling itself together around his forearm. "Well, that worked," he said, satisfied, more or less oblivious to his surroundings.

Which was where Jarvis came in handy. "Sir, we have company."
